I found this link, it contains opinions from some success persons about the best advices they ever got and most influenced their lives. From tech (Larry Page) to Wall Street (Peter G. Peterson) to to entertainment (Tina Fey). Yeah, although I think not all of the advices can be applied in my life, but it's quite interesting to read it IMO. hehe.
And . . ., what's the best advice you ever got?
Some examples:
"Focus on those things you do better than others.", by Peter G. Peterson, CEO of Blackstone Group (the most prestigious private equity and investment banking firms in the world)
"Whatever anybody says or does, assume positive intent.", by Indra Nooyi, CEO of Pepsico and she has been named the #1 Most Powerful Business Woman in the world in 2006 and 2007 by Fortune magazine.

jadi inget hadits yang isinya kurang lebih: "Bekerjalah untuk duniamu, seakan-akan kamu hidup di dunia selama-lamanya. Dan bekerjalah untuk akhiratmu, seakan-akan kamu mati esok hari."
